On Sunday, April 6, former Rudder High School standout Christopher Benavidez’s current college team, the Sam Houston Bearkats, lost 9-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the New Mexico State Aggies.

The game took place at Don Sanders Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Aggies this season.

The Bearkats’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 6 p.m. at Don Sanders Stadium against Texas A&M Aggies.
