On Sunday, March 23, former Rudder High School standout Christopher Benavidez’s current college team, the Sam Houston Bearkats, lost 9-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.

The game took place at Don Sanders Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Bearkats’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 6:30 p.m. at UFCU Disch-Falk Field against Texas Longhorns.
