On Friday, March 7, former College Station High School standout Michael Elko’s current college team, the Richmond Spiders, won 11-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UMass Lowell Riverhawks.
The game took place at Malcolm U. Pitt Field. This was their first matchup against the Riverhawks this season.
The Spiders’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 10 a.m. at Malcolm U. Pitt Field against Lafayette Leopards.
