Michael McCaul, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 10th district, has been active on social media discussing recent events and meetings. Born in Dallas, Texas in 1962, McCaul graduated from Trinity University with a BA and earned a JD from St. Mary’s University. He has served in Congress since 2005.
On June 11, 2025, McCaul praised a significant law enforcement operation involving over 70 Texas agencies that resulted in saving more than 100 children from abuse. On June 12, 2025, McCaul shared his experience meeting with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and the BBQ Team in Washington D.C., where he presented Ray Riley with a certificate recognizing his extensive service. “It was truly a pleasure meeting with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and the BBQ Team in D.C. this week. During our meeting, I presented Rosenthal Meat Science and Technology Center Manager Ray Riley with a congratulatory certificate recognizing his 46 years of service to the A&M”.
Later that day, McCaul emphasized the importance of ensuring safety at upcoming mass-spectator events as the United States prepares to host international visitors. He highlighted the need for showcasing national leadership and excellence during these occasions. “As our nation prepares to host millions of international visitors at several mass-spectator events, we must create safe experiences that showcase the United States’ leadership and commitment to excellence.”
