Michael McCaul, U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 10th Congressional District, shared a series of posts on January 2, 2026, highlighting his office’s accomplishments in the previous year and expressing gratitude for the opportunity to serve his constituents.
In one post dated January 2, 2026, McCaul stated: “This year, I secured $7.9 million in returns to my constituents from the IRS. Texans work hard for what they earn, and I’m proud to help make sure they get every penny they deserve.”
He also reflected on his service over the past year and looked ahead to future goals. In another post from the same date, he wrote: “As we enter the new year, I’m taking a moment to look back on 2025. As always, it’s been an incredible honor to serve the people of Texas’ 10th Congressional District, and I look forward to all we will accomplish in 2026! My year in review:”
Highlighting constituent services provided by his office during the past year, McCaul posted: “My casework team works year-round to assist my constituents with everything from passport renewals to VA issues to social security payments. This year, we completed 1,065 cases for people across Texas’ 10th district!” (January 2, 2026).
Michael McCaul has represented Texas’ 10th Congressional District through several election cycles. In the most recent general election held in 2024, he defeated Theresa Boisseau with approximately 63.6% of the vote compared to Boisseau’s 34%. He has maintained similar margins in previous elections against various opponents since at least 2014.
