Michael McCaul, U.S. Representative for Texas’s 10th congressional district, shared updates on his recent activities and expressed gratitude toward military and law enforcement personnel in a series of posts on social media.
On January 2, 2026, McCaul highlighted his engagement with constituents over the past year: “In my district alone, my staff and I completed 407 meetings this year, with hundreds more in Washington, D.C. It’s an honor to meet with so many of my constituents, hear their concerns, and fight for them each day in Congress.”
In another post from the same day, he discussed his nominations to U.S. service academies: “In 2025, I was proud to nominate 39 bright young Texans to attend our United States service academies. These prestigious institutions only accept the best of the best, and I can’t wait to see how these impressive young men and women will impact our nation in the years to come.”
On January 3, 2026, McCaul thanked those involved in a recent operation: “I want to thank the brave U.S. military and law enforcement members who flawlessly executed this hazardous operation. Their courage, dedication, and professionalism have made America safer and our world more secure.”
McCaul has represented Texas’s 10th district since 2005. In recent elections, he has consistently secured re-election by significant margins; most recently in 2024 he defeated Theresa Boisseau with 63.6% of the vote.
