On Saturday, March 29, former Rudder High School standout Christopher Benavidez’s current college team, the Sam Houston Bearkats, lost 9-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers.

The game took place at Nick Denes Field. This was their second matchup against the Hilltoppers this season.

The Bearkats’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 30 at 1 p.m. at Nick Denes Field against Western Kentucky Hilltoppers.
