On Tuesday, Feb. 25, former Franklin High School standout Riley Hood’s current college team, the McMurry War Hawks, won 12-11 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Hardin-Simmons Cowboys.
The game took place at Hunter Field. This was their first matchup against the Cowboys this season.
The War Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. at Bob Henry Baseball Field against Schreiner Mountaineers.
