On Friday, April 4, former Rudder High School standout Christopher Benavidez’s current college team, the Sam Houston Bearkats, lost 6-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the New Mexico State Aggies.

The game took place at Don Sanders Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Aggies this season.

The Bearkats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 2 p.m. at Don Sanders Stadium against New Mexico State Aggies.
