On Friday, March 21, former Rudder High School standout Christopher Benavidez’s current college team, the Sam Houston Bearkats, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.

The game took place at Don Sanders Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Bearkats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 2 p.m. at Don Sanders Stadium against Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.
