On Saturday, March 1, former Rudder High School standout Christopher Benavidez’s current college team, the Sam Houston Bearkats, lost 14-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Kansas State Wildcats.

The game took place at Riders Field. This was their first matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Bearkats’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 4 p.m. at Riders Field against LSU Tigers.
