On Thursday, April 17, former Rudder High School standout Christopher Benavidez’s current college team, the Sam Houston Bearkats, lost 17-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Dallas Baptist Patriots.

The game took place at Horner Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Patriots this season.

The Bearkats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 3 p.m. at Horner Ballpark against Dallas Baptist Patriots.
