On Tuesday, April 1, former Rudder High School standout Christopher Benavidez’s current college team, the Sam Houston Bearkats, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Rice Owls.
The game took place at Don Sanders Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Owls this season.
The Bearkats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 6:30 p.m. at Don Sanders Stadium against New Mexico State Aggies.
