On Wednesday, March 12, former Rudder High School standout Christopher Benavidez’s current college team, the Sam Houston Bearkats, won 12-11 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Houston Cougars.

The game took place at Don Sanders Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Bearkats’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 6:30 p.m. at Constellation Field against Houston Cougars.
