Christopher Benavidez, former Rudder High School standout, played on Tuesday, Feb. 18 in NCAA Division I baseball game

On Tuesday, Feb. 18, former Rudder High School standout Christopher Benavidez’s current college team, the Sam Houston Bearkats, lost 6-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Rice Owls.

The game took place at Reckling Park. This was their first matchup against the Owls this season.

The Bearkats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 6:30 p.m. at Don Sanders Stadium against NJIT Highlanders.
