On Sunday, March 30, former Travis B. Bryan High School standout Mason Ruiz’s current college team, the Northeastern State Riverhawks, lost 13-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Pittsburg State Gorillas.
The game took place at Al Ortolani Field. This was their third matchup against the Gorillas this season.
The Riverhawks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 4 p.m. at Crowder Field against Arkansas–Fort Smith Lions.
