Texas A&M’s baseball team secured a 14-1 win over Stephen F. Austin on March 10, completing a perfect five-game homestand at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.
The Aggies, now holding a 15-1 record, collected 12 hits and seven walks during the game. Blake Binderup led the offense with two home runs—a solo shot in the fourth inning and a three-run homer in the sixth that traveled 454 feet. Bear Harrison followed Binderup’s second home run with his own solo blast, finishing the night with two hits, two runs scored, and one run batted in.
Jake Duer and Nico Partida each recorded their eighth multi-hit games of the season, combining for four runs scored and five runs batted in. On the mound, Gavin Lyons started for Texas A&M and allowed just one earned run on three hits over four and two-thirds innings. Ethan Darden earned his second win of the season by pitching one and one-third hitless innings in relief. Juan Vargas and Clayton Freshcorn closed out the seventh inning to secure the run-rule victory.
The game marked the 29th meeting between Texas A&M and Stephen F. Austin, with Texas A&M now leading the series 28-1. Attendance was reported at 5,910 fans for this midweek matchup. Several players extended personal streaks: Terrence Kiel II and Boston Kellner have reached base safely in all sixteen games this year; Gavin Grahovac’s triple was both his first career triple and the team’s first of the season; Binderup notched his second career multi-homer game; while back-to-back home runs by Binderup and Harrison were a first for Texas A&M since May 2025.
Texas A&M will begin conference play next with a three-game series against Oklahoma starting Friday, March 13.
