Texas A&M baseball will begin Southeastern Conference play with a three-game series against Oklahoma at Kimrey Family Stadium, starting Friday, March 12. The No. 22 Aggies are set to face the No. 9 Sooners, with games scheduled for Friday at 6:30 p.m., Saturday at 4 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m.
The matchup is significant as it marks the first conference series between Texas A&M and Oklahoma since both teams were members of the Big 12 Conference in 2012. The all-time series between the programs is tied at 34 wins each, and their last meeting occurred in Omaha in 2022.
The Aggies (15-1) will rely on pitchers Shane Sdao, Weston Moss, and Aiden Sims throughout the weekend. Together, they have recorded a combined total of 69 strikeouts and only issued 11 walks over more than 66 innings this season. Sims leads with a 1.59 earned run average and shares the team lead in strikeouts with Sdao.

Offensively, Texas A&M features one of the top lineups in college baseball, ranking among the top fifteen nationally in batting average (.344), on-base percentage (.474), slugging percentage (.612), and home runs (32). Caden Sorrell leads the team with a .407 batting average, .889 slugging percentage, eight home runs, and twenty-eight runs batted in.
