Texas A&M equestrian to face TCU in NCEA quarterfinals on April 15

The Texas A&M equestrian team will compete against TCU in the National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) National Championship quarterfinals on April 15. The matchup, scheduled for 1:30 p.m., will take place at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida.

This contest is significant as it marks the 21st meeting between Texas A&M and TCU, with Texas A&M holding a lead in the series at 12-8. The Aggies enter the quarterfinals after winning the Southeastern Conference title, supported by standout performances from Meagan Braun in Horsemanship, Kate Egan in Flat, and Mattie Gustin in Reining.

Fans can watch Thursday’s quarterfinal on ESPN+ and the USEF Network powered by ClipMyHorse.TV. Live results from the meet will also be available online. Four Ariat NCEA All-Americans—Gustin (Reining), Egan (Flat), Moriah McQueen (Reining), and Grace Shipman (Fences)—lead Texas A&M into this round.

If victorious against TCU, Texas A&M would advance to face either Georgia or Oklahoma State University in Friday’s semifinal round at 8 a.m.
