Texas A&M football has announced a partnership with Next Level Sports to introduce the first season of Next Level Flag Football in Bryan-College Station. The program will be open to students from first through sixth grade in the local area, offering them the chance to receive coaching from current Aggies football student-athletes during a five-week season. Darius Dunaway will lead as the site director for this initiative.

“We’re excited to partner with Next Level Sports to launch the inaugural season of Next Level Flag Football in Bryan-College Station,” said Dunaway. “This is a tremendous opportunity for our student-athletes to invest in the next generation, build meaningful relationships within our community and represent Texas A&M the right way. We’re proud to be part of an initiative that strengthens our community while continuing to grow the game.”

Next Level Sports provides youth sports programs categorized as ‘competitive rec’ for children from kindergarten through eighth grade. Operating across 25 states, it collaborates with over 250 high school programs and more than 40 NCAA athletic programs.

The registration fee for each player is $275, which covers a custom jersey and shorts. Practices and games are scheduled on the same day, with practices taking place immediately before games.

“We are excited to bring the Next Level Flag Football program to Bryan-College Station in partnership with Texas A&M football,” stated Lance Smith, CEO of Next Level Sports. “As with all of our programs, our community-driven league connects youth participants directly with the football staff and student-athletes. A core component of the Bryan-College Station league is that each team will be coached and mentored by current Texas A&M football student-athletes.

“With the strong connection between our organizations, participants will enjoy a truly unique experience while competing in weekly flag football games right here in their community. We are tremendously grateful for the opportunity to be in Bryan-College Station and to work alongside the storied Texas A&M football program. We look forward to seeing the community out on the field with us this March.”

Registration is currently open for those interested in participating in the 2026 season. Additional information about scheduling, supported grade divisions, and registration details can be found on the official website.

Games are set to begin Sunday, March 29, followed by subsequent sessions on April 12, April 19 (doubleheader), April 26, and May 3 (championships). There will be no activities on Easter Sunday (April 5). Times vary by grade division; more specifics are available online.
