The Texas A&M volleyball team announced its 2026 schedule on Apr. 28, featuring a range of non-conference tournaments and a full Southeastern Conference slate as the defending national champions prepare for the upcoming season.

The new schedule is important as it outlines key matches that will test the Aggies early in the season and prepare them for conference play. The team will face several high-profile opponents, which could impact their readiness for postseason competition.

Head coach Jamie Morrison said, “I’m excited about the schedule we’ve put together for the upcoming season. We prioritized adding a number of competitive non-conference matches that would test us early and get us ready for SEC play. We’ve got a brand-new group for this year, but I think we’re ready for the challenge and we can’t wait to get started.”

The Aggies begin their season at the AVCA First Serve event in Milwaukee against Louisville on Aug. 21, followed by SMU on Aug. 23. They then return home to host Grand Canyon and Arkansas State in a doubleheader on Aug. 28 during the Texas A&M Invitational before facing Cal Poly on Aug. 29.

Further notable matchups include games against Purdue (Sept. 1), Indiana (Sept. 2), Stanford (Sept. 9), Wisconsin (Sept. 11), SFA (Sept. 15), Rice (Sept. 22), and Creighton (Sept. 20). SEC play starts with South Carolina visiting College Station on Sept. 27, followed by home contests against Alabama, Mississippi State, Florida, Auburn, Tennessee, LSU, and Ole Miss throughout October and November.

Away games feature opponents such as Oklahoma, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Texas, Vanderbilt, and Missouri before postseason action begins at the SEC Tournament in Savannah from Nov. 20-24.

Looking ahead to another competitive year after last season’s success as national champions, Morrison said he believes his new group is prepared for both familiar rivals and fresh challenges.
