Michael McCaul, currently serving as a U.S. Congressman representing Texas' 10th district since 2005, has recently expressed his views on several pressing issues through social media. Born in Dallas in 1962, McCaul is an alumnus of Trinity University and St. Mary's University, where he completed his BA and JD respectively.

On June 4, 2025, McCaul addressed the impact of the Biden administration's immigration policies on Texas. He stated that "The Biden administration’s open border policies allowed thousands of illegal immigrants to flood our state with no vetting, putting every Texan in danger." He extended gratitude towards ICE and ERO Houston for their efforts in maintaining community safety by apprehending numerous criminals.

In another statement made on June 5, 2025, McCaul offered condolences regarding the tragic loss of two US/Israeli citizens at the hands of Hamas terrorists. He said "Praying for all those who knew and loved Gad Haggai and Judy Weinstein — two US/Israeli citizens taken hostage and murdered by Hamas terrorists." He also acknowledged the recovery of their bodies while condemning the actions of Hamas.

Additionally, on June 5, 2025, McCaul commended Officer John McNair from Bryan Police Department upon his retirement after four decades of service. He remarked "Wishing Officer John McNair of @BryanPolice a wonderful retirement." Recognizing Officer McNair's significant contribution to public safety over his career span—particularly during his tenure with the Joint Terrorism Task Force—he thanked him for his dedicated service.

Michael McCaul continues to serve as a representative voice from Texas' 10th District while residing in Austin with a background deeply rooted in legal studies from notable Texan institutions.
