Michael McCaul, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 10th district since 2005, recently shared his thoughts on various national and international issues through a series of tweets. Later that day, he addressed military aid to Ukraine. He expressed concern over Pentagon decisions potentially undermining President Trump's efforts.

In another post on July 4, McCaul criticized Russia's actions against Ukraine following diplomatic engagements with President Trump: "Russia’s attack last night on Ukraine makes it clear Putin is nothing more than a war criminal and a thug." He condemned this aggression as disrespectful to peace initiatives.
