McCaul has represented Texas's 10th congressional district since 2005 and has consistently secured re-election by significant margins. In the most recent election held in 2024, he defeated Theresa Boisseau with 63.6% of the vote compared to Boisseau’s 34%. Previous elections show similar results against other challengers such as Linda Nuno (2022), Mike Siegel (2020 and 2018), and Tawana Walter-Cadien (2016 and 2014).
